1
Find a stencil which you are interested in using on your clock glass. Find these stencils online, at websites such as Stencil Planet. If you cannot find a stencil you like, you can make your own stencil using decal paper and a laser printer.
-
2
Clean the clock glass you are going to use with powdered cleaner and hot water. Make sure that both surfaces of the glass are thoroughly cleaned and dried.
-
-
3
Apply acetone on the side of the clock glass you are going to be applying the stencil to. Use a new paper towel sheet to apply the acetone.
-
4
Cut the decal to the desired shape and size, then put into hot water for a minute or until the protective film easily comes off of the decal.
-
5
Slide the decal into place off of the protective paper film and onto the clock glass. Make sure that the decal is placed on the exact location which you want the decal to be and then dab at the decal with a dry, clean paper towel to remove any excess water. Let the decal dry onto the clock glass overnight.

Cover any gaps, or "holidays," in the stenciled clock glass using a brush and some paint of the same color as the area surrounding the gaps.
