Select sticks or twigs that are the same size.

Place the two sticks on top of each other in a perpendicular manner. Holding the sticks on your lap, carefully tie the end of a ball of yarn around the very center of the sticks, securing the sticks together.

Wrap the yarn completely around one of the sticks, making sure that the yarn stays close to the center of the sticks. Once your are all the way around the stick end, move on to the next stick end, wrapping the yarn around it in the same manner. Repeat this until you have traveled around every stick end. This will create a pattern around the center of the perpendicular sticks. Continue this pattern until the sticks become filled with around 1 to 2 inches of yarn. Cut the yarn, and tie the end of one of the sticks.

Tie another color of yarn to the stick that you ended on, and continue wrapping the yarn around the sticks in the same pattern as before. Wrap the yarn around the sticks until you have created another 1 to 2 inches of weaving. You can end your angel eyes here by cutting off the yarn and tying it onto one of the sticks, or you can continue adding more colors. Your angel eyes can be displayed proudly in your home, or given to a family member or friend as a personal gift.
