How Do You Get Detailed Billing on a Verizon Wireless Statement?
Detailed billing allows you to review every phone call and text message you sent or received over the course of a billing period. Verizon Wireless allows you to download a detailed bill online in a few simple steps. However, you will need to register for an online Verizon Wireless account to access this feature.

Getting a Detailed Bill Online

Visit the Verizon Wireless website and click "My Verizon" to log onto your Verizon Wireless account. If you do not have an account, then you need to register first.

Click the "View Bill" option on your account homepage. You can also hover your mouse over the "Account" tab at the top of the screen and click "Bill" as an alternative.

Select the "Bill Details" tab to review a detailed listing of your calls, including the time the call was placed, number, minutes used and whether the call was "off-peak" or "peak." You can also get a detailed listing of your text messages, including the number you texted (received or sent), date and time.

Select "View and Print Bill" above the list of calls if you want to print out the information (the service will display a PDF file for printing). Choose "Download to Spreadsheet" if you want to list all of the call information in a Microsoft Excel file.

Call Verizon customer service (611 from your handset or 1-800-922-0204 from another phone).

Ask to add the "Detail Bill" feature to your account. This will allow you to receive paper bills that contain a listing of your calls and text messages, in addition to the summaries. Expect to pay an additional monthly charge for this feature. Note that streamlined billing, which doesn't contain call detail information, is standard and free.

Wait one billing cycle to start receiving detailed paper bills in the mail.
