How to Set Temperatures on a West Bend Slow Cooker

Refer to your slow cooker recipe for the temperature setting required to cook or warm your food.

Fill the slow cooker pot with your food, cover and plug in the appliance.

Turn the temperature control knob on the front of the slow cooker to the setting as directed in your recipe. Use setting #1 (140 degrees Fahrenheit) for warming breads, setting #2 (165 to 170 degrees Fahrenheit) for keeping cooked foods warm. Cook at setting #3 (low or 180 degrees Fahrenheit), setting #4 (medium or 200 degrees Fahrenheit) or setting #5 (high or 212 degrees Fahrenheit).

Cook the food according to the directions in your recipe and unplug the appliance when finished.
