How to Wire a Trailer Harness in a Ford Ranger
To haul a trailer, an automobile must first be outfitted with a trailer wiring harness. The wiring harness allows the trailer's signals to operate in conjunction with the automobile electric signal system. A Ford Ranger pickup truck can be wired with a four-wire (also known as four-way) trailer connector by splicing the connector to the rear signal wires.
