Instant approval credit card.

There are literally hundreds of different credit cards available to the American public, many of which come with instant approvals. Before you go rushing out and apply for an instant-approval credit card, you need to compare some of the different settings on each card to make sure you are receiving the best card for you and select a card that is not going to charge an arm and a leg in interest.

Instructions

    • 1

Look at what the maximum credit limit is with the credit cards. This is going to vary depending on what credit card it is. Most instant-approval credit cards do not have high credit limits (usually just a few thousand dollars). This is because the company is taking a risk that you might default on the credit card and it does not want to risk a large amount of money.

    • 2

Check out what the interest rate is. This is the amount the company charges you for every dollar that goes unpaid from the previous month's balance. You also want to check to see if it can vary. Some cards have no interest for a few months, then raise the interest to well over 20 percent.

    • 3

Find out what brand of credit card it is (such as Visa or MasterCard). Some stores have their own credit cards that only work in those stores. Visa and MasterCard can be used at most locations throughout the country.

    • 4

Determine if the cards have any reward programs. Some cards give you money back or airline miles for money you spend. The more you spend, the more you receive back. If you need to purchase something, you might as well receive a small portion back.
