How to Connect a Sony Playstation 3 to a Toshiba 57HX83

The Toshiba 57HX83 is a high-definition television, giving you superior audio and video quality over standard definition TVs. With the improved quality you can connect outside HD devices to the system, including the Sony PlayStation 3. The PS3 supports high-definition playback, and it is possible to connect the two devices with a single cable connection.

  Plug the opposite end of the cable into one of the HDMI ports on the Toshiba 57HX83.

  Power on the PS3 and the Toshiba HD television. Press the "Input" button on the remote control and select the HDMI port you have the TV connected to. The PS3 contents appear on the screen.
