How to Delete MSN History
The MSN Messenger (or Windows Live Messenger) and the MSN Toolbar both store history. The MSN Messenger stores a chat log if you have it set up to do so, and the toolbar stores searches that you performed through it. If you are worried about cookies or privacy of your searches/chats you can quickly delete the history from the computer. This removes the history files completely from the computer to ensure they cannot be found.

Right-click on a contact in your contacts list.

Hover over View and select “Message History.”

Click “Delete History.”

Open your Web browser.

Click the "MSN" button on the toolbar.

Click “Clear Search History” to delete the history.
