Instructions

1
Measure the length of the louvers and add 2 inches. Measure this distance up from the floor and mark the wall once at each side of the patio doors and once in the middle.
-
2
Hold the headrail up centered above the patio doors at the measured height. Measure in 4 inches from each end of the headrail and make a mark perpendicular to the height marking.
-
-
3
Hold the mounting brackets up to the wall with the corner positioned at the intersection of the height and width markings. Use the pencil to mark the wall where the screw holes sit on the brackets.
-
4
Drill pilot holes in the wall using a 3/8-inch drill bit where the screws will fit into the brackets. Push wall anchors into the pilot holes so the flange of the anchor sits flush against the wall. Hold the brackets up in place and drill screws through the brackets into the wall anchors.
-
5
Hold the headrail at a 45 degree angle to the wall and insert the top edge into the mounting brackets. Twist the headrail back parallel with the wall to snap into place.
-
6
Push the louvers up into the stems and pull back down slightly so the louver hooks onto the stem. Repeat for all the louvers, keeping each facing the same direction so the blinds will lay flat when closed.
-
7
Locate the cord and pulley at the operational end of the blinds and attach the cord pulley to the wall by drilling a screw through the screw hole.
