A good book report balances book details and reader thoughts. Write a body paragraph that gives a general outline of the plot, settings, characters and any conflict. These don't need to be in-depth.
Explain the thesis statement a bit further, drawing in elements of the plot and characters. Provide examples that elaborate on your thesis statement. For example, if your thesis statement is, "The main character has been shaped by his culture" reflect on that in the body of the report. Provide examples in the plot where cultural events affected the narrator, and showcase dialogue used by the character.
No matter your thesis statement is, you must provide evidence to support your idea. -

The final paragraph should show the reader's feelings. Write a last paragraph that sums up what you think of the book.
