How to Remove Java 1.4 2
Java, the programming language used to drive many of the world's interactive websites, has undergone many revisions in its lifetime. If you have version 1.4.2 of the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) installed on your computer, you are running an outdated version of Java that was officially retired in 2008 and is no longer supported. Uninstall Java 1.4.2 from your computer to make room for a more recent version of the JRE and increase your computer's compatibility with web-based interactive content.
