How to Contact AOL to Sign Up

Sign up for a free AOL email account.

The preponderance of free email providers on the Internet gives you a lot of options. AOL Mail is one of those options. As is the case with most free email providers, AOL Mail offers free virus and spam protection. In addition, you can access your AOL email on other platforms, such as Microsoft Outlook, or on your Internet-enabled cell phone.

Instructions

1. Visit AOL's Sign Up page (see Resources) and click on the "Get Free AOL Mail" button.

2. Type in the information requested in the fields provided on the registration page, then read the Terms of Service information.

3. Select the "Submit" button. AOL redirects you to another page confirming the successful creation of your email account.

Tips & Warnings

• As per AOL's User Terms of Service, your account may be canceled if it's inactive for 30 days or more.
