Instructions

  1. Installing Doughboy Pool Liner

    • 1

Decide which area of the yard is the flattest and if it will be a good location for the pool. Measure out the dimensions of the pool and stake out a perimeter of where the pool will sit.

    • 2

Dig up the sod in the area of the perimeter and rake the area to level it out. If necessary use a drag behind a lawn tractor to rake the area.

    • 3

Remove all rocks, sticks, clumps of sod, or any other debris that may be in the pool perimeter.

    • 4

Inventory the pool kit parts against the packing list to make sure all pieces are included. This will also familiarize the installer with what each piece is and will help the installation process go smoothly.

    • 5

Remove the stakes from the perimeter of the prepared area.

    • 6

Spread the liner out on the prepared location and check for the orientation of the skimmer and return port.

    • 7

Identify the bottom pipes and position them around the liner.

    • 9

Attach the bottom pipes and the bottom tees together moving in one direction around the pool. Make sure that the unattached "T" part of the PVC "T" joint is facing upward.

    • 10

Attach the end of a stand-up pipe over the end of each upright exposed "T" joint leg. Repeat this step until all bottom tee joints have been attached to a stand-up pipe.

    • 11

Slide one of the adjustment pipes that is labeled with an "A" into the liner pocket with a Velcro closure. Connect the adjustment pipe to a top tee joint. Attach the top tee joint to the appropriate stand pipe.

    • 12

Insert a top pipe into the pocket around the poo'ls top edge starting at the top tee joint that is assembled and work around the top of the pool in one direction. Connect each of the top PVC tee joints to the appropriate stand pipe.

    • 13

Insert the second adjustment pipe through the adjustment flap opening after moving around the entire pool and connect it to the last top tee.

    • 14

Insert the adjustment pipe stamped with a "B" into the adjustment flap and insert one end at a time into either of the adjustment pipes labeled with an "A." Take care to make sure the pins snap into place. The liner is now installed and the pool frame erect.
