How Do I Speed Up the Windows Response on My Computer?
Nothing is more frustrating than dealing with a delay on your computer when you are eager to use a program or piece of software. Microsoft Windows contains many graphical tweaks, such as animating menus and windows, shadows under windows and pointers, smooth scrolling and visual styles, which when enabled, make windows look more appealing, at the expense of system resources. By disabling these features, none of which are necessary, you can speed up Windows' response time on your computer.
