How To Delete Yahoo Search History For Free

When you search for something using the Yahoo! search engine, the keywords are saved by your Internet browser. This will cause the previous searches to reappear when you search for something similar at a later date. You can stop this auto-complete feature by clearing the saved history in the browser.

Internet Explorer

Step 1

Open Internet Explorer.

Step 2

Click the "Tools" menu on the top of the window.

Step 3

Select "Internet Options" from the Tools menu.

Step 4

Click the "General" tab.

Step 5

Click "Delete" under "Browsing History."

Step 6

Click "Delete Forms."

Firefox

Step 1

Open Firefox.

Step 2

Click the "Tools" menu on the top of the window.

Step 3

Select "Options" from the Tools menu.

Step 4

Select "Privacy" from the options window.

Step 5

Select "Clear Now" and click "Saved Form and Search History" and "Clear Private Data Now." Click "OK" to save.

Google Chrome

Step 1

Open Google Chrome.

Step 2

Open the tools menu by clicking on the wrench in the upper-right corner of the window.

Step 3

Select "Clear Browsing Data" from the Tools menu.

Step 4

Select "Clear Browsing History" and click "Clear Browsing Data" to verify.
