Corel's PaintShop Photo Pro X2 is a widely used graphics editing application. It allows photographers to create, edit and export bitmap images in a range of formats, including JPEG, GIF, PNG and TIFF.       Click "File" in the top menu bar and select "Open."

      Locate the file you want to turn into a negative image, and then double-click its icon to open the file in PaintShop Photo Pro X2.

      Click "Layer" in the top menu bar and select "Duplicate" to create a copy of your original image. Editing a copy allows you to delete the layer and revert to your original image if the edits do not turn out as planned.
