How to Set Netzero As the Default Email on Internet Explorer

Set your default email client as Netzero.

When you use Internet Explorer (IE), you may sometimes want to communicate through the email addresses on websites. The Internet Explorer default email client is Microsoft Outlook, so when you click "Email" or "Contact Us" on sites, an Outlook window will pop up. You can change your default email client to your NetZero email quickly and easily.

Instructions

1. Start Internet Explorer.

2. Find "Internet Options." This is under "Tools" or "View," depending on the version of IE you are using.

3. Select the "Programs" tab.

4. Find the area that says "Email" and "Newsgroups." Click NetZero email or add your NetZero email address to the box if it isn't already there. If you use the NetZero email account regularly, your computer might have saved it, but with a web-based email program, you will likely need to type it in. Click "OK," "Set Defaults" or "Apply," depending on your version. Your default mail client should now be set as your NetZero email client.
