How to Convert AAC Audio to MP3
The Advanced Audio Coding (AAC) audio file format is a "super-powered" version of the MP3 file. AACs employ more efficient compression than MP3s, and handle higher frequencies better than MP3s. Still, MP3s have the advantage of working in many more programs than do AAC files. Thus, users may wish to convert their AAC files into MP3s for compatibility with certain programs and devices. A slew of online conversion tools can turn your AACs into MP3s at no cost.
