How Do I Change My Proxy Firewall?
Certain services on the Internet, including libraries and universities, secure their resources behind proxy servers. As a result, you may need to change your proxy firewall settings to gain access to certain online materials. All proxy firewall settings and options are controlled through the Internet Explorer web browser, which is installed on all computers running the Windows operating system.

Log on to your PC computer with an administrator account. Only administrators can change proxy firewall settings.

Launch the Internet Explorer application.

Click on "Tools" in the menu bar then select "Internet Options."

Go to the "Connections" tab at the top of the window and click on the "LAN Settings" button.

Check the box next to "Use a proxy server for your LAN" to enable the proxy firewall service.

Enter the IP address or URL of the proxy firewall you want to use in the "Address" field. If necessary, also enter a port number in the "Port" field.

Press "OK" twice to close the windows and save the proxy firewall settings.
