How to Install the Printer Driver for a Lexmark X3430
The Lexmark X3430 requires the use of a printer driver to facilitate communication between the printer and the computer. Without a printer driver installed, the computer will not be able to send print jobs to be printed by the printer. You can install the printer driver for the X3430 with the installation disc that originally came with the printer. If you do not have the disc, you can also download the driver from Lexmark's website.

Turn on the Lexmark X3430 and the computer you want to use with it. Make sure the two devices are connected securely.

Insert the printer's installation disc into the computer's optical drive, if you have the disc. If you do not, open the computer's web browser and go to www.lexmark.com. Click on "Drivers and Downloads" and click on "Driver Finder." Select "X3430" from the list of printers, then select the operating system you are using on your computer. Click on "Download Now" and save the file to your computer's desktop. Once the file has downloaded, close the web browser and double-click on the installation software. Click "Run" to start the installation software.

Follow the on-screen instructions in the installation software, which will vary depending on your computer's operating system. When you are done installing the printer's software and driver, restart your computer.
