How to Remove Urine Stains in White Clothing

A bucket filled with water and white vinegar can provide a great pre-soak for stained white clothing.

When urine ends up on white clothing, it can be difficult to remove. Not only does the yellow stain need to be removed, but so does the odor. Pre-soaking the clothing, as well as machine washing it, can help to remove any traces of a urine stain.

Things You'll Need

• Bucket
• Water
• 3 cups white vinegar
• Paper towels
• Biological laundry detergent
• Washing machine

Instructions

1. Blot up as much moisture as possible with paper towels.

2. Pour three cups of white vinegar into a bucket.

3. Fill the rest of the bucket with cool water.

4. Place the soiled clothing into the bucket, and let it soak overnight.

5. Transfer the clothing from the bucket to the washing machine. Add biological laundry detergent and start the machine. Biological laundry detergent includes chemicals that get white clothing extra white. It can be found at regular grocery stores.

6. Let the clothing dry outside because the sun will help bleach the fabric.
