Tutorial for Microsoft Office Power Point 2007
Microsoft PowerPoint, which comes with the Office 2007 suite, is presentation software that you can use to produce a professional-looking presentation in minutes. PowerPoint gives you the option of building your own presentation from scratch or using a preformatted template to help you get a head start on your presentation. Whether you are teaching math to middle school students or trying to persuade management to approve your departmental budget, a PowerPoint presentation will engage your audience and keep your presentation on track.

Open PowerPoint . Click on the "Office" button at the top left and click "New." PowerPoint will provide you a list of options for your presentation.

Choose a subject area for your presentation from the left-hand menu. For example, if you want to present a business proposal, click on "Proposal." PowerPoint will search for all available Proposal templates and present you with another list of available templates. Click on the closest template to your chosen topic. For example, you might have an option for "Sales Strategy Proposal." The template will download, and the presentation will open.

Change the title of your presentation by double-clicking on the title. This action highlights the title text. Press the "Delete" key and type in a new name for your presentation.

Repeat Step 3 for other items in the title slide that you would like to change.

To select another slide, click on the slide number on the left-hand side. You can change the information in the slide or delete the slide by pressing the "Delete" key.

Add new slides to your presentation by clicking the "New Slide" button on the ribbon (the top toolbar).

Add pictures to your slide by choosing "Picture" from the "Insert" menu.

Save your presentation by clicking on the "Office" button and choosing "Save." Type in a name for your presentation and choose "Save."

Tips & Warnings
To see how your presentation will look, click on "From Beginning" in the "Slide Show" tab.
Try not to clutter your slides. Keep to around five lines of text per slide for maximum readability.
