How to Print a Large Format Tiled in Photoshop
Adobe Photoshop is a graphics design application that is a part of the Adobe Creative Suites 4 software package. The application installation disc includes many useful plug-ins that will automatically become installed with Photoshop or must be manually enabled. The Bigger Tiles plug-in allows you to enlarge the tiles in your Photoshop document, which allows you to redraw more data at a time in a single tile. This plug-in ultimately help users to optimize the performance of Photoshop, allowing the application to run at quicker speeds.

Insert the Adobe Photoshop CS4 installation disc into the CD-ROM drive of your computer. Open the disc drive from the desktop of your computer and then click on the “Languages” folder.

Click on the “Goodies” folder and choose the “Optional plug-ins” folder. Click on the “Extensions” folder and then select the “Bigger Tiles plug-in” folder.

Minimize the folder window and click on the drive again to access the “Adobe Photoshop CS4” folder. Click on the “Plug-ins” folder and then choose the “Extensions” folder. Go to the “Bigger Tiles plug-in” folder and drag that folder into the “Extensions” folder.

Close out of the folders and restart the Photoshop application on your computer. Click on the “File” option and then choose the “Print” option.

Change any printing settings to meet your preferences. Click on the “Print” button, and your document will print with large tiles.

Completely inaccurate. The Bigg tiles plugin optimzes image redrawing onscreen for macs with greater than 1GB of Ram. Has nothing at all to do with printing. "On computers with > 1 GB RAM, you can optimize Photoshop to take advantage of the RAM in your system and manage memory more efficiently. This plug-in is only useful if you are working with documents of large pixel dimensions (thousands in each direction) and is not recommended if you work with documents containing many layers (>50 pixel layers)."
