Find a web 2.0 property. Web 2.0 simply means websites that allow users to post content to the site. There are literally hundreds of web 2.0 websites for you to choose from. Here are just a few: Squidoo.com, Blogger.com, WordPress.com, HubPages.com, Weebly.com and WetPaint.com. See the resources section for a link to a larger list of web 2.0 sites.

Join the web 2.0 website you have chosen. Each site requires that you provide an email address and a password at a minimum. Some sites want more personal information. Once you sign up, you will receive a confirmation email. Click the link in the email to activate your account.

Visit the home page and click the log in link. Enter you user id and password and submit. You will be taken to a control panel page with all of the options available to you. Typically you can add personal information to a profile page as well as create web pages.

Add a page to your account. Use the interface provided to enter your page title and text content. Many web 2.0 websites also allow the addition of video and images to your pages. Once you've created your content, preview your page. When you're satisfied, save and publish your web page.
