Connect your Fisher snow plow to your truck.

If you live in an area where there is constant snowfall throughout the year, then you have your own snow plow. Fisher snow plows are among the top plows available. Fisher Engineering created the patented Minute 2 Mount system snow plow. It is easy to connect your Fisher snow plow to your truck. You do not need any special tools, so you can connect and disconnect your Fisher plow anywhere.

Instructions

    • 1

Draw back the connecting pin of the snow plow. Find the handle located on the front of the plow's frame, behind the blade. Lower the pin release handle from the upright position until it is completely horizontal. This movement will cause the pin to pull out.

    • 2

Advance the truck into the attachment arms. The pushplates on the vehicle will engage the attaching mechanism in the arms. Drive very slowly when doing this, as only a small amount of pressure is needed.

    • 3

Raise the pin release handle back to the upright position. Stand in front of the plow blade and reach in between the blade and the vehicle to raise the handle.

    • 4

Lift the headgear up and toward the truck. This is the triangle-shaped gear on the top of the frame, just below the headlamp bracket. The connecting pins will be inserted into the pushplates once the headgear in switched up.

    • 5

Locate the jack lock. It is just to the right of the upright pin release handle. Grasp the lock and pull outward. The pin release handle then moves into the arms sticking out of the frame. This then holds the handle in place or what is called a stop.

    • 6

Raise the jack entirely. Hold the jack lock in one hand and, with the other hand, pull up the jack handle. The jack handle is the thin metal handle to the left of the pin release handle.

    • 7

Push the jack lock inward to put it back in its place.
