How to Convert a Digital Camera Video to a DVD for Free
There are a wide range of freely available programs for converting digital camera videos to DVD video in just a few mouse clicks. These programs will perform the transcoding operations necessary to convert digital video files into a DVD readable format. Once the conversion is completed and the DVD burned, pop the disc into a DVD player to view your digital camera video, on any DVD capable device including your television.

Download your Digital Video

Connect your digital camera to a computer via the USB cable.

Select "Microsoft Scanner and Camera Wizard."

Select "Copy pictures to a folder on my computer."

Review the pictures and video files available for download on your camera and select those you wish to save to your computer and then click "Next."

Specify the folder you wish to save the pictures and video files and then click "Next."

Review your download operation and click "Finish" to complete the process. The files will be saved to the location you specified.

Launch Windows DVD Maker by selecting "Start," "Programs," and "Windows DVD Maker."

Select "Burn a DVD video disc using Windows DVD Maker." Then, select "Add items."

Navigate to the digital camera videos you wish to burn to DVD and click "Add" to add them to your project.

Arrange the digital camera videos according to your preference.
