How to Convert a Digital Camera Video to a DVD for Free

Instructions

Download your Digital Video

1. Connect your digital camera to a computer via the USB cable.

2. Select "Microsoft Scanner and Camera Wizard."

3. Select "Copy pictures to a folder on my computer."

4. Review the pictures and video files available for download on your camera and select those you wish to save to your computer and then click "Next."

5. Specify the folder you wish to save the pictures and video files and then click "Next."

6. Review your download operation and click "Finish" to complete the process. The files will be saved to the location you specified.

Convert Digital Video to DVD with Windows DVD Maker

1. Launch Windows DVD Maker by selecting "Start," "Programs," and "Windows DVD Maker."

2. Select "Burn a DVD video disc using Windows DVD Maker." Then, select "Add items."

3. Navigate to the digital camera videos you wish to burn to DVD and click "Add" to add them to your project.

4. Arrange the digital camera videos according to your preference.

5. Click "Customize Menu" to configure the DVD menu to your preference.

2. Select "File," "New" to start a new project. Select NTSC as the DVD format.

5. Configure the DVD menu by selecting the "Backgrounds" tab and setting the menu to your preference.
