How to Buy Domain Names in Bulk
People buy multiple domains in bulk when they want to protect their brand name. For instance, you can type in several variations of Google and it will still take you to the Google website. This is because others will register a domain similar to yours and cash in on your visitors' spelling mistakes. You want to get as many variations of your domain name up front so that no matter how a visitor misspell your domain in a browser, they can still be redirected to your site. Some domain registers give a discount when domains are purchased in bulk.
