How to Program a Sony Remote Control for a Visco LCD TV
Visco LCD TVs are affordable HDTVs that were previously sold in Walmart stores. Although they are no longer being sold at Walmart, you still may own a Visco LCD TV. Visco televisions are manufactured by NEC, and therefore use the NEC remote codes. You can program your Sony universal remote control by using the NEC codes provided in the Sony user manual.

Turn on your Visco LCD TV.

Look up the NEC device codes in the back of the Sony remote manual. See the Resources section of this article for a link to codes, as well.

Press and hold the "Set" button at the top of the remote until the "Set" indicator lights up.

Enter the device code using the number pad.

Press the "Enter" button on the Sony remote to set the code.

Press the "Power" button and your Visco TV should turn off.
