How to Enable JavaScript on a BlackBerry Curve

If you don't have JavaScript on your BlackBerry Curve, you may not see all of a website, or worse, you may not see any of a website. Enabling JavaScript will allow you to view the JavaScript material on a website created by the developer. You may need to clear your BlackBerry Internet cache more often, since you will be viewing more content. Enabling JavaScript will use more of the cache memory on the phone.

Instructions

1. Open your BlackBerry Web browser.

2. Press the "Menu" key at the left of the trackball to open a menu.

3. Select “Options.”

4. Select “Browser Configuration” from the menu.

5. Select “Support JavaScript” to check off the box.

6. Press the "Menu" key again.

7. Choose “Save Options” to save your settings.
