How to Ping a Web Address
Pinging a Web address is a process that will send packets of information to the Web address. The Web address then responds and acknowledges that it received the ping, sending a message back to the original ping source. Pinging is used to verify if a Web address is connected to the Internet and how fast it is processing incoming data requests.
