How to Draw Baby Cats
Kittens are a fun subject to draw for cartoons or even more realistic pictures. They look great on posters, greeting cards and craft items. Kittens look a lot like adult cats, but smaller. Draw a kitten by placing it next to something that puts the size of the kitten in perspective. This is especially effective if the kitten is placed next to a larger, adult cat.

1
Draw two bean-shaped bodies--draw one about half the size of the other. Draw the bean shape by making a C and then connecting the two ends of the C with a curving line similar to an S.
-
2
Draw two triangular ears poking out from the top of each of the bean-shaped bodies.
-
-
3
Draw two pairs of oval eyes on each cat, just below the ears.
-
4
Draw a nose just below and centered between the two pairs of eyes.
-
5
Draw a set of whiskers on each cat, signified by two or three slanting lines on each side, pointing to the nose in the center.
-
6
Draw a tail at the far right end of the bean-shaped body. Do this by drawing an S shape poking out from the body. Draw a second S shape directly beside the first S shape. The second S shape should mimic the first S shape. Connect the two S shapes at the end.

Draw two pairs of legs on each cat. The left leg will begin in the middle of the body on the left, and will be formed by two straight vertical lines that end with a little knob. The right leg will begin in the middle of the body on the right, and will be formed by two straight vertical lines that end with a little knob. You have just drawn a cat and a kitten.
