How to Submit a Webpage to Dogpile

Quickly add your webpage to the search engines used by Dogpile.

Known as a "meta search engine," Dogpile runs queries against the indices of such popular search engines as Google, Yahoo and Bing. After removing duplicates, it displays a comprehensive list of results, delivering a broader range of pages and sites than any single search engine. Because Dogpile looks at the listings of other search engines, your webpage must be listed on those sites to appear in Dogpile's results. Adding your webpage to Google, Yahoo or Bing is a quick task.

Instructions

Submit a Webpage to Google

1. Open a Web browser window and navigate to Google's "Add your URL" page (google.com/addurl).

2. Enter your page's Web address in the "URL" field.

3. Enter the text contained in the CAPTCHA image (the letters written in "squiggly" lines) in the field directly below the image.

4. Click "Add URL" to submit your page to Google for indexing.

Submit a Webpage to Yahoo

1. Open a Web browser window and navigate to Yahoo Site Explorer's "Submit Your Site" page (siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/submit).

2. Click the "Submit a Website or Webpage" link.

3. Enter your page's Web address in the corresponding field.

4. Click "Submit URL" to submit your page to Yahoo for indexing.

Submit a Webpage to Bing

1. Open a Web browser window and navigate to the Bing Webmaster Center's "Submit your site to Bing" page (bing.com/webmaster/SubmitSitePage.aspx).

2. Enter the text contained in squiggly letters in the CAPTCHA image in the "Characters" field.

3. Enter your page's Web address in the corresponding field.

4. Click "Submit URL" to submit your page to Bing for indexing.
