How to Find Charmander in Pokemon Gold
Pokemon Gold is a role-playing game developed by Game Freak and released by Nintendo for its Game Boy handheld system. The game allows you to catch and raise Pokemon in order to take on the Pokemon League and become one of the world's top trainers. Charmander, being a first-generation Pokemon, is not commonly available in Pokemon Gold. However, using a second Game Boy, you can transfer Charmander to Pokemon Gold and place him among your Pokemon.
Things You'll Need

1
Go to Goldenrod City. If you have not already received the Plainbadge from this city's gym, do it now. After you have the Plainbadge, travel to the house at the Northeast corner of the city. The woman inside will give you a Squirtbottle.

2
Travel to Route 36 and use the Squirtbottle on the tree there. This tree will turn into a Sudowoodo (which you can either fight or catch) and will grant you access to Ecruteak City.

3
Talk to Bill at the Pokemon Center in Ecruteak City, and he will tell you that the Time Capsule has been fixed. This will allow you to trade with the Pokemon Red, Blue, or Yellow Versions.

4
Turn your second Game Boy on and begin your Pokemon game. Connect the two Game Boys with the Game Boy Link Cable. Send the trainer on your second Game Boy to the nearest Pokemon center and use the PC there to connect to your first Game Boy.
-
5
Send the Charmander on your second Pokemon game to your Pokemon Gold game. The Charmander will now appear with all of your other Pokemon Gold Pokemon.
