Things You'll Need

• Heavy duty powdered laundry detergent
• Bowl
• Old toothbrush

Instructions

1. Mix heavy duty powdered laundry detergent and water in a bowl to create a thin paste.

2. 

   Old toothbrushes make handy scrubbers.

   Apply the paste to the yellow suntan lotion stain on your clothing using an old toothbrush.

3. 

   Stain removers often need time to work.

   Scrub the paste into the yellow stain, working it into the fibers. Allow the paste to sit on the stain for five minutes.

4. Rinse the detergent paste from the stained area and look to see if any sun lotion stain remains on the clothing. Repeat step 3 for any remaining stain.

5. Wash your clothing using the hottest water possible, according to the care label on the fabric. Use a heavy duty laundry detergent to combat any last traces of stain.

Tips & Warnings

• Allow clothing to dry in the sun and fresh air when possible. Not only does the sun help bleach out stains, the fresh air makes clothing smell great.

• Be careful using bleach on oil-based stains as the bleach can magnify the stain if it doesn't remove it.
