      Use the USB cable to connect your iPod or iPhone to your computer.

      Open the iTunes application (if it doesn't open automatically).

      Click on the iPod or iPhone icon that appears on the left side of iTunes.

      Click the "Music" tab, which is located at the top of iTunes.

      Check the "Sync Music" box.

      Choose "Entire Music Library" to transfer all of your songs to your iPod or iPhone. Choose "Selected Playlists, Artists, and Genres" to manually select which songs you want to transfer.

      Click "Apply."

      Click "Sync." Your MP3s will now be copied to your iPod or iPhone.
