- Liquid dish detergent
- Water

Measuring spoons come in handy when you're making a cleaning solution. Mix 1 tsp. dish detergent with 3 tsps. water in a bowl large enough to hold your jewelry.

An old toothbrush makes a great cleaning tool. Use an old but clean toothbrush to scrub your white gold and diamond jewelry. Spend time scrubbing the insides of rings, as well as around the stones.

Soak especially grimy white gold and diamond jewelry in the cleaning solution overnight to remove oil, lotions and dirt.

Use a cool-water rinse. Remove your jewelry from the solution and rinse with cool water.
