How to Open Hotmail in Outlook 2007
Microsoft Outlook is one of the world's most widely used email programs. Included as part of the Microsoft Office suite of productivity products, Outlook offers a point-and-click interface that simplifies the sending, receiving, searching and management of email messages. By downloading and installing the Microsoft Office Outlook Connector, you can quickly configure Outlook to send and receive messages from your Hotmail account.

Open a Web browser window and navigate to the Microsoft Office Outlook Connector download page. (See Resources.) Save the "OutlookConnector.exe" installer file to your computer when prompted.

Close Microsoft Outlook.

Launch the installer file you downloaded in the previous step by double-clicking its icon. Click "Run" if prompted by Windows, and then follow the on-screen prompts to install the software on your computer.

Open Microsoft Outlook. The "Microsoft Office Outlook Connector" dialog box will appear the first time you launch Outlook after installing the Connector.

Enter your Hotmail address, Hotmail account password and your name in the corresponding fields. Check the box labeled "Remember my password" if you want Outlook to do so.

Click "OK." Your Hotmail account now will appear in Outlook's left-hand navigation pane. You can begin sending and receiving Hotmail messages using Outlook immediately.

Tips & Warnings
Set up additional accounts by clicking "Outlook Connector" in Outlook's top menu bar, selecting "Add a New Account," and completing Steps 5 and 6.
