How to Use the Walmart Picture Discs

When purchasing photos at Walmart, most stores will provide customers with a photo CD for an additional fee. When inserted into a computer, the photo CD is launches an image viewing tool that allows customers to see their pictures. Customers can view and share these photos with friends and family after uploading the photos from the CD to their computer. Walmart picture discs are compatible with both Windows and Mac computer systems. Each CD can hold up to one hundred photos.

Insert the Walmart picture disc into the CD/DVD drive of a computer. In most systems, the Walmart photo software will install automatically. If it does not, click "Start," "Computer" and double-click the Walmart software icon to manually begin the software installation.

Follow the on-screen wizard to install the Walmart photo software. Click "Finish" at the end of the wizard to complete the installation.

Double-click the Walmart photo center icon on the computer's desktop to begin the program. If no desktop icon is present, click "Start," "All Programs" and locate the software in the list of programs.

Explore the Walmart photo center software. There will be options to view your photos.

Save the photos directly to your computer. Click "Start," "Computer" and locate the Walmart software icon. Right-click the Walmart icon and then select "Explore" from the drop-down menu. This will open a folder that contains all the photos.

Drag the folder labeled "Pictures" onto your desktop to save all the photos to the computer. If you would like to save only certain photos to your computer, right-click each photo desired and select "Save" and then choose the location to save the photo to.

Print photos. In the "Pictures" folder on your desktop, right-click each picture you would like to print and select "Print" from the drop-down menu.
