How to Send an Online International Fax

Sending a fax to another country can be done rather easily online.

Even though plans for the fax machine originated in the 1840s, it is still a widely used device for both business and personal matters. When it comes to sending documents internationally, use of a fax machine is almost imperative because many governments that do not accept digital signatures on legal documents do accept signatures on faxed documents. Thankfully, faxing documents internationally can be done rather easily online, and in some cases for free.

Instructions

1. Find an online service that allows international faxing. FaxZero and GotFreeFax are two extremely efficient online faxing websites. MyFax is another great service that allows you to send international faxes free.

2. Go to your website of choice. If you are using FaxZero or GotFreeFax, click on "Send an International Fax" and select the country you are faxing to. If you are using MyFax, there is no need for this step.

3. Enter your name and email address, as well as the name and fax number of your recipient in the appropriate boxes.

4. Enter text into the text editor or upload the document to be faxed by selecting "Browse" and choosing the corresponding file.

5. Retype the confirmation code and click the send button to begin transmission. In FaxZero and GotFreeFax, you will be taken to a billing page. In MyFax, international faxes are free.

6. Check your email inbox for any further instructions to complete your fax. Once your fax has been sent, you will receive an email confirming that your fax has been successfully transmitted.
