Homemade Magnet Jewelry
Magnet jewelry has become increasingly popular because of the health benefit claims by those who wear it and the fashion statements that the adornments make. Magnets have been used as an alternative therapy for centuries. The magnets are said to interact with the natural magnetic fields around magnet wearers to help heal them and elevate their moods. Some retailers and websites will charge exorbitant prices for the jewelry. You can make your own magnetic jewelry, and since the components are magnets, assembling the jewelry is not difficult.

-

Place the bag over the vise-grip pliers containing the magnetic toys.

Stick the magnets together to form a bracelet, anklet, etc. The number of magnets you need depends on the size of your wrist, ankle or neck and on how long or loose you want the jewelry. When making a necklace, you should put the magnets end to end. You can do the same thing when making bracelets and anklets, but you can also put magnets for bracelets and anklets side to side. Either way, you decide to make your jewelry, the magnets will stick together.

Tips & Warnings
You can paint the magnets to give them a more chic look, if desired. Use a latex paint, and cover the paint with a clear coat of polyurethane, or a coating of clear fingernail polish. This will protect the underlying paint.
Do not break the toys outside of the bag! Magnets will fly everywhere and can damage electronics and hit you in the process.
