1
Take your pieces of scrapbook paper and draw lines on one side of each sheet of paper from the middle of one edge up and out to the corners of the opposing side. Cut along these lines and dispose of the two side pieces from each paper.
-
2
Curl the triangular pieces of paper into cone shapes, securing the overlapping sides of the triangles together with double-sided tape.
-
-
3
Attach chipboard numbers to the front of each cone, using foam dots, for the dates of the days of Advent.
-
4
Cut one 3-inch strip of ribbon for each cone. Staple the folded ribbon to the top back of the cones to create a loop to hang the cone pockets from.
-
5
String the cones onto a long piece of ribbon, in order, and then tack the ribbon up on a wall with thumbtacks at the ends of the ribbon and between every fifth and sixth cone.
-
6
Place small treats, like candy, or trinkets, like party favor toys, in the cones to be discovered each day.
