How to Wire a 2 Ohm Subwoofer to a Monoblock Amplifier
If you're looking to add great bass to your ride, adding a subwoofer is the way to go about doing it. There are many combinations of amplifiers and subwoofers you can use, but one of the most effective paths is to combine a monoblock (single-channel) amplifier with a two-ohm subwoofer. This lets the amplifier produce maximum power output to drive the sub.
Instructions

1
Cut a length of speaker wire that's long enough to reach from the amp's mounting location to the subwoofer.
-
2
Separate the two leads of the speaker wire for 2 inches and remove 1/2 inch of insulation from each lead with your wire strippers on both ends of the wire.
-
-
3
Loosen the speaker output terminals of the amplifier by turning the set screws of the terminals to the left with a phillips screwdriver or hex wrench. Which tool you use depends upon the brand and type of amplifier you have.
-
4
Slide the bare ends of one end of the speaker wire into the speaker terminals of the amplifier. Slide the wire marked positive (+) into the positive terminal and the negative lead into the negative terminal. Tighten the set screws to hold the wires in place.
-
5
Loosen the subwoofer's input terminals by twisting them to the left until a hold appears in the terminal posts. Slide the bare end of the positive lead into the positive terminal and the negative lead into the negative terminal. Twist the terminals to hold the wires in place.
