How to Track Alaska Airlines Flights

Seattle-based Alaska Airlines has its strongest presence on the West Coast, but has expanded to serve cities all over the United States, as well as some destinations in Canada and Mexico. With so many routes, you may find yourself needing to track the flight of a friend or family member flying on Alaska Airlines.

• Internet connection
• Flight number

Instructions

1. Go to AlaskaAir.com in your browser.

2. Scroll down to the blue box that says "Check Flight Status." Enter the date of the flight and the flight number in the box that opens, and click "Continue." The page that appears will have the scheduled and actual departure and arrival times, as well as the gate number and any notes on the flight.

3. Click "update" just above the chart to refresh the page and get the most timely tracking information on the flight.

Tips & Warnings

• If you are not sure of the flight number, you can search by the departure and arrival cities or download a flight timetable.

• If you do not have Internet access, call Alaska Air's Reservations department at 1-800-252-7522 for flight status information.
