How to Donate Computers in Connecticut
Residents of Connecticut who wish to donate their computers may give them to any of the charitable organizations that operate in the state, including Computers with Causes, a nationwide initiative that serves as network bringing would-be computer donors together with organizations that accept donated computers, and United Way of Connecticut, which administers a computer donation program.

Go the Computers with Causes website and look for the "Computer Donations" section.

Use the drop-down menu to select the type of computer you want to donate, and then click "Go -- Click Here."

Enter your name, telephone number, email address, street, city and state into the appropriate fields.

Select the type of computer from the "Computer Type" drop-down menu. Enter the model or serial number and select the working condition from the "Condition" drop-down menu.

Enter any comments that you want to leave about the computer and then click "Submit Computer Donation."

Wait to receive an email or telephone call to make arrangements to donate your computer.

Click on the "Computer Donation Programs" link to see a list of non-profit organizations that United Way of Connecticut serves.
