How to Get a Certificate of Good Standing in Arizona

A certificate of good standing is something that is issued to businesses in Arizona, as well as in other states. In Arizona, the Arizona Corporation Commission issues all certificates of good standing. A business may want a certificate of good standing when preparing to do business in another state or before engaging in a new business relationship or contract. It shows the legal name of the company, that the business does not owe any money to the state, that all paperwork and licenses are in order and that the company has not been dissolved.

Instructions

    • 1

Go to the STARPAS page of the Arizona Corporation Commission website (see Resources).
