How to Get an Online GED in Oregon
The Oregon GED program is available for individuals who could not complete the normal high school curriculum. Passing the GED exam provides you with a high school equivalency certificate. Prepare for the GED examination by using tools available from various websites. After studying the materials, schedule a time to take the GED exam at a local testing center.

Go to the GED Testing Service website provided by the American Council of Education.

Click on the "text-takers" link on the left side of the page.

Click on the "Prepare" link to review information about preparing to take the GED exam.

Click on the "Practice Online" link under the "Prepare -- Your Way" section. Click each of the links under the "Content Areas" section to view GED practice questions.

Take a practice examination by visiting the Steck Vaughn Adult Education website. Click the "Start Practice Test" button to begin the practice GED test.

Locate a testing center by clicking the "Locate Testing Center" link on the GED Testing Service website. Type in your Oregon area Zip Code and then click the "Search" button to see a list of results.

Go to a testing center and take the GED examination. You can completely study and prepare for the GED online, but you cannot take the official GED examination online. You must go to an Oregon testing center to take the examination.
