How to Update a File of SmartCOP Anti-Virus

SmartCOP Anti-Virus is a computer program that enables you to automatically scan every file contained on your hard drive in a quest to identify any viruses. Occasionally, the "virus definitions" file that SmartCOP Anti-Virus uses to scan your files must be updated to contain information on all the latest computer viruses to hit the Web. You can download and install the update for this virus definition file from the SmartCOP Anti-Virus website.

      Click "Downloads."

      Click on the link that reads "Download the latest Update of SmartCOP." Save the update file to your hard drive.

      Double-click on the update file you just downloaded to install the latest virus definition file update for SmartCOP Anti-Virus on your computer.
