1. Purchase and download the oRipa Yahoo! Webcam Recorder. This is a paid webcam capture software just for Yahoo! Messenger. Install the program and run it. Select a location to save the videos to. Initiate a web chat in Yahoo. Click the "Record" button in oRipa to start recording the Yahoo chat. Click the "Stop" button when finished.

2. Use the capture software that was installed with your webcam. Initiate a web chat in Yahoo! Messenger. Open your capture software. Click on "Record" to record the chat. When finished, click on "Stop."

3. Download and install EatCam Webcam Recorder for Yahoo Messenger. This is a free software package that records web chats as AVI files. Start EatCam at the same time as you start a Yahoo! Messenger web chat. Click the "Record" button to start recording. When finished, click the "Stop" button and designate a location for the file to be save to.
