  • Tea bag
  • Lemon juice
  • Salt

Instructions

      Remove the top of the copper tea kettle and fill it 1/2 to 3/4 full of water.

      Place the copper tea kettle on top of a stove burner that is set to medium heat.

      Allow the copper kettle to remain on the stove burner until it starts to whistle, which indicates that the water is at boiling temperature. Remove the kettle from the stove and turn the burner off.

      Place a tea bag into a teacup and pour the water from the tea kettle over it.

Tips & Warnings

  • Polish the copper tea kettle with a paste made of 2 tbsp. of lemon juice and 1 tbsp. of salt. Wash well with dish soap and hot water after polishing and dry well with a cloth.

  • Never heat a copper kettle on high heat.
