How to Enable Bluetooth on a Dell 1501 Laptop
The Dell Inspiron 1501 laptop computer is a widescreen computer that is able to burn DVDs, play audio and browse the Web. Dell Inspiron 1501 laptop owners can connect their computers to Bluetooth devices. Some of the Bluetooth devices that work with Dell Inspiron laptops include mice, keyboards, headsets and printers. Inspiron 1501 owners can enable Bluetooth connections the same way they would with any computer that runs on a Windows operating system.

Plug the Bluetooth adapter into one of the computer's USB ports.

Press and hold the power button on the Bluetooth device until the device's blue light turns on and stays lit.

Click the "Start" icon on your desktop. A menu will appear.

Click "Control Panel."

Select "Hardware and Sound."

Click "Bluetooth Devices." Select the "Add" button. A list of discoverable Bluetooth items will appear.

Click the Bluetooth device you want to enable. Select "OK." You now have enabled Bluetooth on a Dell Inspiron 1501 laptop.
